The cocktail.  There may be lots of speculation, theories and mixed opinions on when and where the term “cocktail” originated in America, however, thousands of recipes have been created since its arrival.

In celebration of National Cocktail Day (March 24th), it is a perfect time to highlight three of the most popular favorites that seem to always make their appearance at our various events.

Defining Cocktail

According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of the word cocktail is “an iced drink of wine or distilled liquor mixed with flavoring ingredients.”

Most of the traditional cocktails stick to being simple with limited ingredients and are easy to make for all bartending skill levels.
